Lahore, dec 22: while lawyers of mohammed Aamir and Mohammed Asif did not appeal to the International cricket council (ICC)on wednesday to defer the hearing of thier spot-fixing cases, leagal representative of Salman Butt urged the game's governing body to delay it until the outcoe of the Scotland Yard reports over the Scam.
Currently, the three cricketers are provisionally suspended by the ICC for their alleged role in the spot-fixing scandal erupted during the Lord's test between Pakistan and England late August. While Scotland Yard is also investigating the scandal, the ICC has started its separate inquiry into the allegations. The ICC has fixed the date of the tro's hearing in Doha, Qatar from 6-11.
However, on the request of Salman's Lawyer Yasin Patel the ICC organised a teleconference on wednesday to ponder the request, to decide whether or not defer the hearing. But Asif's lawyer Alexander Cameroon and Aamir's lawyer Shahid Karim who also attended the teleconference, went against Salman's pea.
However, a decision by Michael Beloff- chairman of the ICC code of conduct Comission in this regard is to be announced soon.
Shahid, Aamir's lawyer, who attended the telenconference, later said that he wanted the hearing to be held at the scheduled time, arguing there was no need to delay it. Shahid contended that his client's case was strong, vowing to fight till the end. The lawyer hoped his client would get justice from the ICC and if not, he would take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport(CAS.
Meanwhile, Salman refused to comment on the issue, saying his lawyer who had been dealing with the cas, was in a better position to make any comment.
"I am also waiting for a call from my lawyer as the ICC will only convey its decision to him [Yasin]", the former Pakistan captain said.
Interestingly, all the three cricketers have been adopting different policies while proceedings in this common cas. Earlier, Salman and Aamir had filled thier appeals to the suspension on them until the final verdict of Beloff.
Contrarily, Asif did not appeal for the same remission. But Beloff turned down the appeals of Aamir and Salman for any relief and later fixed the hearing from jan 6-11.
As Asif is banned from entering the UAE, the ICC had to relocate the hearing to Doha, Qatar.

Cricket In Pakistan
The Pakistani team cricket is an International cricket team which represents Pakistan. Pakistan's two big successive victories all time over are the worldcup which they won in 1992 and after that the they became the T20 Champions in the year 2009.

2010
The year 2010 was the worst for the Pakistan team. Some Pakistani players had been accused for match fixing against England. The players who were named were Mohammed Aamir, Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal and Mohammed Asif. These players still say that they haven't done any such thing which will bring disgrace to their country , but the case is still going on but till then these players are banned for from playing. After that they lost the T20 world cup to England. This was the second worst thing that happened to them this year. And when they had a tour with England thier wicketkeeper abonded the match. He said that he was getting threats for killing him so ran out to Lodnon to protect himself and his family. But finally now the year is ending and we hope that the new year will bring good news for Pakistani cricket.
Pakistan last won the worldcup in 1992 under the captaincy of the one and only Imran Khan. But will Pakistan win the 2011 worldcup after losing thier key players, well that's a big question and we all Pakistani fans hope that Pakistan wins this and brings the world cup home.
